The 7 Best All-Inclusive Resorts with Water Parks in Jamaica

Jamaica is one of the best islands in the Caribbean, famous for its pristine beaches and laid-back, friendly atmosphere. And while it’s a popular destination for honeymooners and couples, it’s also a popular spot for families as well. But if you want to make sure everyone has as much fun as possible, I recommend booking an all-inclusive resort with a waterpark. All-inclusive properties take the pain out of planning your vacation, as all meals, activities, and entertainment are included with your stay. And if you choose a hotel that features a water park, then you can guarantee that it’ll be non-stop fun for the whole family.

What’s the Best All-Inclusive Resort with a Water Park in Jamaica?

Compared to other Caribbean Islands, Jamaica has relatively few resorts with on-site water parks. Most of them are located in major touristy areas, including Ocho Rios, Montego Bay, and Negril. Beaches Ocho Rios, Beaches Negril, and Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa are probably the biggest and most famous all-inclusive water park resorts.

However, there are several others that also have water activities, like large water slides, water cannons, or children’s splash areas.

So if you’re looking to book a family vacation, consider the following family resorts and Jamaica hotels with water parks.

Moon Palace Jamaica

With a beachfront location in the heart of Ocho Rios (it’s so close that you can walk into town), Moon Palace Jamaica is an excellent choice for your all-inclusive vacation.

There are four outdoor pools in addition to the on-site water park. Younger guests will love the slides, while older kids can go for a spin on the surf simulator.

And if you’re looking to have more fun out on the water, kayaks, paddleboards, and Hobie cats are also available to rent for free.

Moon Palace Jamaica is also one of the best all-inclusive hotels for foodies. You and your family will feast like royalty here from the upscale Italian to Jamaican jerk food stands.

Ocean Coral Spring

The Ocean Coral Spring is an all-inclusive Jamaican resort with a water park on the island’s northern side between Ocho Rios and Montego Bay.

It’s one of these all-inclusive hotels that kids will love, as they can spend their days playing with friends in the kid’s club or hanging out in the interactive water park (with a pirate ship, lazy river, and multiple slides). And it’s one of the few places that plans activities and daycare services for kids of all ages, starting as young as six months.

This gives parents lots of free time to participate in a few activities themselves, whether it’s getting an outdoor massage or playing a game of bowling. And at night, you can both come together for a delicious dinner at one of the nine restaurants and then to a show or live musical performance.

Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica

While it may not be the largest of all the water park resorts in Jamaica, the Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica is still guaranteed to keep your young kids happy. Their mini water park features a colorful jungle gym, cascading water fountains, and several child-friendly slides.

The main pool is quite large and snakes around the entire front of the hotel, boasting panoramic views of the sparkling ocean and a secluded white sand beach.

Your all-inclusive package also includes unlimited meals, drinks, fitness classes, evening entertainment, and a daily one-hour rental of kayaks or equipment for snorkeling in the Caribbean.

Beaches Ocho Rios

With something for the whole family, Beaches Ocho Rios is one of my top picks for resorts in the Caribbean. Not only is it set on a lush 22 acres of tropical grounds, but it also has a private beach and its very own kid-friendly water park!

The 27,000-square-foot Pirates Island Water Park is guaranteed fun, with tube slides, raft slides, kiddie slides, a splash pad, and lots of pools and hot tubs.

And even if you’re not the water park type, you’ll still enjoy your stay thanks to the amazing activities.

One amenity I think is worth mentioning is the free scuba diving for certified divers, which is extremely rare for all-inclusive hotels.

It’s also great that they have evening activities organized by age group, so teens can party in their own lounge while the adults can enjoy their cocktails and live music in peace.

Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa

For true die-hard water park fans, the Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa is arguably the best beach resort that you can choose for your trip to Jamaica.

It’s here where you’ll find Sugar Mills Falls Water Park, the biggest water park in Jamaica and the second-largest in all of the Caribbean.

There are multiple lagoons and waterfalls, a floating lazy river, and a heart-racing water slide that’s over 280 feet long! And it’s completely free to visit for guests staying at the Hilton Rose Hall.

However, the free water park is only one of the reasons to stay here. Guests can also have included tennis court rentals (with free lessons), non-motorized water sports, a kid’s club, and unlimited food, drinks, and snacks.

Royalton Blue Waters Montego Bay

Compared to many other large Caribbean resorts with water parks, the Royalton Blue Waters feels much more intimate. There are only 228 rooms are the property, all of which are luxurious suites with lots of space for you and your family.

Staying in a small hotel also means you won’t have to wait in line for dinner (no reservations are needed at any of the ten restaurants) or fight for a chair around the pool.

Guests staying at the nearby Royalton White Sands may also use the facilities at this resort and vice versa.

There are a lot of fun things for kids to do here too. The pirate water park is an excellent addition to the already massive pool complex, with slides, a splash play area, and even a lazy river.

They can also join the kids club to meet new friends or participate in pool Olympics (one of the many interactive activities included with your stay).

Beaches Negril

Located on the white sands of Jamaica’s legendary Seven Mile Beach, Beaches Negril Resort is home to one of the most incredible water parks in the Caribbean. Older kids will love the two high-speed slides, while little ones can play in the water playground or toddler slides.

But my favorite feature of the park is the Bucket Drop, which will get you soaking wet from head to toe.

As with the other beach hotels and resorts in Jamaica, Negril has complimentary land and water sports (including scuba diving), a kid’s camp, and a never-ending list of activities.

Conclusion

Staying at a resort with a water park is a great perk that can make your vacation more enjoyable. And although many inclusive resorts have an action-packed activity list of fun things to do, there’s sometimes nothing more fun than hanging out on a lazy river or zipping down a high speed slide.

So if you want to make sure your family has a memorable trip to the islands, make sure to book one of these exciting water park resorts!
