Acme Feed & Seed

Located in the heart of downtown Nashville, Acme Feed & Seed is a multi-level restaurant and bar steeped in rich history and southern charm. Built in 1890 by JR Whitemore, the Acme building at 101 Broadway has seen numerous changes in the Nashville business community. In 1943, Nashville businessman Currey L. Turner moved his feed store, Acme Feed & Hatchery, into the building and rebranded it as Acme Farm Supply in 1965. Known for its unforgettable promotions, such as the annual “Purina Jamborees” and the famous pet calf named Beautena who appeared on stage at the Grand Ole Opry, Acme quickly became a local favorite. After closing their doors at 101 Broadway, the building remained vacant until Tom Morales and his partners leased the property in 2014 to reopen it as Acme Feed & Seed.
